You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303(a) from the California Environmental Quali-ty Act (CEQA) for the construction of one single-family residence; B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 18-14, and Removal of A Protected Healthy Tree Permit No. TRH 18-20 Project Description: A 3,325 square foot two-story single family dwelling and an attached 450 square foot two-car garage. One protected Magnolia tree located in the front yard will be re-moved to allow for the development of the project. Lot Size: 7,500 square feet Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,955 square feet New Building Size (excluding the garage): 3,325 square feet Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 3,373 square feet and 45% Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 3,375 square feet and 45% Comment Period: Monday, October 15, 2018 to Monday, October 29, 2018 by 5:30 PM Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to October 29, 2018. . Un-der this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or re-quest in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
