You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303(a) from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for one single-family residence; and B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 17-38, Protected Tree Encroachment Permit No. TRE 18-11 Project Description: A new 9,354 square foot, two-story Spanish style residence, with an attached two-car garage, detached two-car garage, a sports court, and a detached pool house. Two Chinese elm trees in the west property boundary will be protected from any potential im-pacts during the construction of the new home. Lot Size: 31,760 square feet Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 3,474 square feet New Building Size (excluding the garage): 9,354 square feet Pool House: 635 square feet Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 10,768 square feet and 34% Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 10,940 square feet and 34% Comment Period: Friday, May 18, 2018 to Friday, June 1, 2018 by 4:30 PM Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to June 1, 2018 . Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
