2. NOTIFY OWNER 7 DESIGNER IMMEDIATELY IF THERE IS ANY DISCREPANCIES IN
THE DIMENSIONS AND I OR FIELD CONDITIONS PRIOR TO THE START OF ANY
WORK.
3. ALL WORKS SHALL BE APPLIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURE'S
LATEST RECOMMENDATIONS OR WRITTEN DIRECTIONS.

8. MINIMUM DIMENSION TO FACE OF DOOR JAMB SHALL BE 4" UNLESS NOTED
OTHERWISE.
7. REMOVE I RECONSTRUCT ALL BROKEN OR CRACKED CURB a GUTTER AND
SIDEWALK AS DETERMINED BY PUBLIC WORK INSPECTOR,
8. CITY OF ARCADIA DOES NOT ALLOW PAD HEIGHTS MORE THAN 12" ABOVE OF
BELOW FINISHED GRADE.
9. DWELLING UNIT AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED AND
INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 13R OR NFPA 13D AS AMENDED IN AMC
6950.5
STATE REQUIREMENTS
A. AT TIME OF PERMIT ISSUANCE. CONTRACTOR SHALL SHOW THEIR VALID
WORKER'S COMPENSATION INSURANCE CERTIFICATE.
S. ALL WORK SHALL CONFORM TO ALL REQUIREMENTS OF STATE OF CALIFORNIA
TITLE 24 REGARDLESS OF THE INFORMATION INDICATED ON THESE PLANS, IT IS
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISING THE CONSTRUCTION TO
ENSURE THAT THE WORK IS DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CODE REQUIREMENTS
PRIOR TO REQUESTING INSPECTION.
C. EXCESS OR WASTE CONCRETE MAY NOT BE WASHED INTO THE PUBLIC WAY OR
ANY OTHER DRAINAGE SYSTEM. PROVISIONS SHALL BE MADE TO RETAIN
CONCRETE WASTES ON SITE UNTIL THEY CAN BE DISPOSED OF AS SOLID WASTE-
D, SEDIMENTS AND OTHER MATERIALS MAY NOT BE TRACKED FROM THE SITE BY
VEHICLE TRAFFIC. THE CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE ROADWAYS MUST BE
STABILIZED SO AS TO INHIBIT SEDIMENTS FROM BEING DEPOSITED INTO THE
PUBLIC WAY. ACCIDENTAL DEPOSITIONS MUST BE SWEPT UP IMMEDIATELY AND
MAY NOT BE WASHED DOWN BY RAIN OR OTHER MEANS.
E. STOCKPILES OF EARTH AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION RELATED MATERIALS MUST
BE PROTECTED FROM BEING TRANSPORTED FROM THE SITE BY THE FORCES OF
WIND AND WATER.
F. TRASH AND CONSTRUCTION RELATED SOLID WASTES MUST BE DEPOSITED INTO
A COVERED RECEPTACLE TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF RAINWATER AND
DISPERSAL BY WIND.
G. FUEL. OILS. SOLVENTS AND OTHER TOXIC MATERIALS MUST BE STORED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR LISTING AND ARE NOT TO CONTAMINATE SOIL AND
SURFACE WATERS. ALL APPROVED STORAGE CONTAINERS ARE TO BE
PROTECTED FROM THE WEATHER. SPILLS MUST BE CLEANED UP IMMEDIATELY
AND DISPOSED OF IN A PROPER MANNER. SPILLS MAY NOT BE WASHED INTO
THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM,
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
A. THE ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT SHALL NOT PREVENT THE BUILDING OFFICIAL FROM
REQUIRING THE CORRECTION OF ERRORS ON THESE PLANS OR FROM
PREVENTING ANY VIOLATION OF THE CODES ADOPTED BY THE CITY. RELEVANT
LAWS, ORDINANCES. RULES AND 1 OR REGULATIONS,
B. THE PROJECT SITE SHALL BE KEPT CONTINUOUSLY FENCED IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE CITY OF ARCADIA MUNICIPAL CODE AND I OR THE PLANNING DIVISION
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL UNTIL THE PROJECT IS FINALIZED OR APPROVAL TO
REMOVE THE FENCE HAS BEEN OBTAINED FROM THE CITY BUILDING DIVISION. 24
HOUR SECURITY SHALL BE PROVIDED ANY TIME THE FENCE CANNOT BE
MAINTAINED INTACT,
ENERGY REQUIREMENTS
A. ALL APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CERTIFICATE- (CF$R) FORMS AND "CERTIFICATE
OF FIELD VERIFICATION AND DIAGNOSTIC TESTING" (CF-4R) FORMS SHALL BE
COMPLETED AND POSTED AT THE PROJECT SITE TO BE VERIFIED BY THE
BUILDING INSPECTOR.
B. RADIANT BARRIER- RADIANT BARRIERS INSTALLED IN THIS BUILDING SHALL
HAVE AN EMITTANCE LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 0.05 AS TESTED IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ASTM C1371 OR E408 AND MEET THE INSTALLATION CRITERIA AS
SPECIFIED IN REFERENCE RESIDENTIAL APPENDIX RA4.2.2.
FIRE DEPARTMENT
A. DWELLING UNIT AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED AND
INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 13R OR NFPA 13D AS AMENDED IN AMC

B- 'FIRE SPRINKLER REQUIRED UNDER SEPARATE PERMIT,
C. APPROVED AUDIBLE ALARM DEVICES SHALL BE CONNECTED TO EVERY
AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM. SUCH SPRINKLER WATRER -LOW ALARM
DEVICES SHALL BE ACTIVATED BY WATER FLOW EQUIVALENT TO THE FLOW OF A
SINGLE SPRINKLER OF THE SMALLEST ORIFICE SIZE INSTALLED IN THE
SYSTEM, ALARM DEVICES SHALL BE PROVIDED ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE
BUILDING IN AN APPROVED LOCATION. WHERE A FIRE ALARM SYSTEM IS
INSTALLED, ACTUATION OF THE AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM SHALL
ACTUATE THE BUILDING FIRE. ALARM SYSTEM, APPROVED AUDIBLE NOTIFICATION
APPLIANCES SHALL BE PROVIDED IN THE INTERIOR OF THE BUILDING AT
LOCATIONS REQUIRED BY THE FIRE CHIEF. (AMC 8130.101
