HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of Pending DecisionNOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the subject property is proposing to add a second story addition to an existing, one story, single-family residence that is subject to the City’s Single- Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the alteration of an existing facility B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 17-11 Project Description: Improvements to the existing one story, 1,640 square foot, single family residence that consist of an interior remodel, a 940 square foot first story addition, and a new 809 second story. Lot Size: 10,500 square feet Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,640 square feet New Building Size (excluding the garage): 3,389 square feet Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 3,491 square feet and 33.2% Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 4,700 square feet and 44.7% Comment Period: October 4, 2017 to October 18, 2017 by 5:30 PM Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to October 18, 2017. Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter. City Hall will be closed on October 13, 2017.
