HomeMy WebLinkAboutRevised Notice of Pending DecisionNOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the subject property is proposing to build a new single-family residence that is subject to the City’s Single- Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the construction of one single-family residence; and B. Single-Family Architectural Design Review No. SFADR 17-29 Project Description: The applicant has amended their project to resituate the house on the lot. Minor changes have been made to the building footprint to accommodate this change, but the overall square footage and Floor Area Ratio is the same as the previous proposal. The proposal remains a new 4,398 square foot, two-story, Mediterranean style residence, with attached, one-and-two car garages. Lot Size: 10,500 square feet Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,556 square feet New Building Size (excluding the garage): 4,398 square feet Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 4,598 square feet or 43.7% Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 4,700 square feet or 44.7% Comment Period: March 15, 2018 to March 29, 2018 by 5:30 PM Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to March 29 2018. Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
