HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of Pending DecisionNOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the subject property is proposing to build a new single-family residence that is subject to the City’s Single- Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the new construction of one single-family dwelling; and B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 17-43 and Protected Tree Encroachment No. 18-13 Project Description: The applicant is proposing a new 8,394 square foot, two-story, Spanish-style residence with an attached 776 square foot, three-car garage, a 2,233 square foot basement, and a 764 square foot detached pool house. The lot will have a total Floor Area Ratio of 9,284 square feet. The new sports court in the rear yard will encroach into the dripline of two protected Oak trees on the subject site. Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
