Project Description: The applicant is proposing a new 3,701 square foot, single -story, French -style
residence with an attached two -car garage. The project will encroach into the dripline of three (3) protected
trees located on the adjacent property to the North.
Lot Size: 9,167 square feet
Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,054 square feet
New Building Size (excluding the garage): 3,701 square feet
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 3,701 square feet (40°%)
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 4,400 square feet (45% plus a 3% bonus for single -story homes)
Comment Period: March 26, 2018 to April 9, 2018 at 5:30 PM
Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to April 9, 2018. Under this
process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in
writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be fled within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application
and appeal fee. You may also visit the City's website at www.ArcadiaCA.00v/noficesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the
approval/denial letter. City Hall will be closed on Friday, March 30, 2018.
