You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Sections 15301 and 15305 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for an existing facilities and minor adjustments to the setbacks. B. Administrative Major Modification No. AM Major 19-03 Project Description: A modification request to maintain an existing detached two-car garage with a non-conforming rear yard setback that ranges from three (3) feet to nine (9) feet in lieu of the required ten-foot rear yard setback, as required for detached accessory structures. Typically with a new development, all structure are demolished. Therefore, the request to maintain the existing non-conforming garage is subject to a modification process. The project has been reviewed and approved by the Rancho Santa Anita Resident’s Association.
