REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
THURSDAY, JUNE 8, 2017
CALL TO ORDER — Chairperson Pro -Tem Wong -Dion called the Regular Meeting to order
at 5:30p.m. in the Council Chambers Conference Room.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE — Chairperson Pro -Tem Wong -Dion
PRESENT: Commissioners Dolan, McMahon, and Wong -Dion
ABSENT: Commissioners Francone and Rock
A motion was made by Commissioner Dolan, seconded by Commissioner Wong -Dion to
excuse Commissioners Francone and Rock from this meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENTS — None present
REPORTS FROM HUMAN RESOURCES COMMISSION MEMBERS — Chairperson Pro -Tem
Wong -Dion wanted to thank the City Manager and the City for the beautiful reception dinner that was
organized by the Silver Circle Community. She mentioned that it was a very nice evening and was
pleased by the black and white event.
REPORTS FROM CITY COUNCIL LIAISON — Council Liaison was absent.

2. REGULAR ITEMS
Recommendation to approve New Classification Specification for Library Clerk
(Part -Time)
Recommended Action: Approve
Darlene Bradley, Director of Library & Museum Services, presented the staff report.
Darlene stated that the Library staff is regularly asked by patrons if they provide
specialized passport services at their facility and they currently do not. Darlene
mentioned that proposing this new position would not only enhance the services the
City is able to provide to patrons but it would also generate revenue with the fees

ADJOURNMENT
Chairperson Pro -Tem Wong -Dion adjourned the meeting at 5:52 p.m. to Thursday, July
13, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 240 W. Huntington Drive,
Arcadia.
