You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301 and 15305 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for an addition to an existing structure and minor alteration in land use limitations; and B. Major Administrative Modification No. Major AM 19-16 Project Description: The applicant is proposing a 613 single-story addition and remodel of an existing single-story single family residence located at 1630 Oakwood Avenue. A modification has been requested to allow a portion of the addition to encroach into the required 7’-10” northerly side yard setback. The addition will measure 33’-2.5” in length and will reduce the side yard set-back to 6’-3. The Highlands Homeowner’s Association Architectural Review Board has reviewed and approved the architectural design of the addition.
