Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who s ubmit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) day s following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. Longden Avenue APN: 5791-021-012 NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the subject property is proposing to amend a previously approved single-family residence that is subject to the City’s Single-Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303(a) from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for one single-family residence; B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 15-52, Protected Tree Encroachment Application No. TRE 17-12, and Zoning Clearance—Accessory Dwelling Unit No. ZCRL ADU 19-13 Project Description: The Applicant is proposing to amend a previously approved singe -family project to accommodate a new Accessory Dwelling Unit. The single-family residence is not under construction. The new residence will remain as a two-story, French-style residence with a detached three-car garage. The applicant is proposing the following changes: Reduce the size of the first and second floor of the main house resulting in an overall reduction of 621 square feet and greater setbacks on all sides of the building, reduce the height of the building from 30’-0” to 28’-3”, eliminate the 307 sq. ft. pool house, add a new 767 sq. ft. accessory dwelling unit.
