Ladies and Gentlemen: This report presents results of our field density tests performed on the building pad of the proposed residence at the subject site. Building pad was constructed for building foundations and associated structures. Site conditions, field and laboratory test results, and post-grading recommendations are presented as follows: SITE CONDITION Subject site is located on the north side of Portola Drive and at a relatively short distance east of Cortez Road in the City of Arcadia, California. Topographically, the subject site is relatively flat. Existing residence and associated structures were demolished prior to grading the building pad. Onsite loose and/or disturbed soils within the proposed building pad area were excavated to a maximum depth of three (3.0) feet below the existing ground surface and exposed competent natural soil. Competent natural soils exposed within the excavated areas were inspected and are considered suitable for the proposed development. Prior to all backfill, EGL field personnel had checked excavated bottom receiving fills to ensure clearance of non-acceptable debris. Onsite soils were used as fill materials.
