The purpose of this survey was to identify ACM's located in the detached garage only for demolition. The scope of work included investigation for sampling the suspect ACM at the location described below: One story self-standing detached garage approx. 93 years old and approx. 200 sq.ft. consisting of storage space. Exterior walls consist of stucco material. Concrete foundation. A total of six (6) samples were collected and analyzed by Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) using EPA method(EPA/600 R-93/116,July 1993) "Method for the Determination of Asbestos in Bulk Materials".The bulk samples were analyzed by AIH Laboratory; located at 2556 W Woodland Dr.,Anaheim CA 92801.AIH Laboratory holds a Department of Health Services Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program Certificate,NIST/NVLAP 500079-0.AIH Lab contact number 562-860-2201. Procedures and methodologies used to survey the facility are based on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act(AHERA) requirements. Reasonable effort is made by AAA Asbestos & Lead Inspections, Inc. personnel to locate and sample suspect materials that may be affected by the pending future renovation activities. However, for any building structure the existence of unique or concealed asbestos containing material (ACM) and debris is a possibility.Furthermore, should any suspicious (untested) material become exposed during renovation, such material must be tested for negative asbestos content before resuming the renovation activity. Quantities of materials expressed in this report are estimates only.
