You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15305 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for a minor alteration in land use limitations; and B. Major Administrative Modification No. Major AM 21-01 and Sign Architectural Design Re-view No. SADR 21-01 Project Description: The Applicant is requesting the following modification to the new signage at the Le Meridien hotel: Allow the total aggregate area of wall signs to exceed the 150 square foot maximum by 20 feet; Allow the rear wall sign area to exceed 50% of the area of the wall signs on the front and side elevation by 9%; Allow two monument signs in lieu of the maximum allowed which is one monument sign, and to allow the monument sign located at the southeastern most portion of the lot and adjacent to the driveway off E. Huntington Drive to be setback 3’-5” from the property line and 3’-3” from the driveway in lieu of the required setback of 5’-0” from the property line and 10’-0” from the drive-way; And allow two directional signs to exceed the maximum permitted sign face area of 4 square feet per sign by additional 6-10 square feet in area.
