SUBJECT: Certificate of Demolition No. COD 20-29
PROJECT ADDRESS: 2607 S. Santa Anita Avenue
Dear Ms. Patera,
The Development Services Department has conditionally approved
Certificate of Demolition No. COD 20-29 dated December 10, 2020, for the
demolition of two buildings at 2607 S. Santa Anita Avenue, subject to the
following conditions:
1. No buildings and/or structures shall be demolished until a replacement
project has been approved through the public hearing process by the
City of Arcadia. Information from the historical evaluation accompanying
the Certificate of Demolition application shall be included in the relevant
environmental document submitted for the replacement project.
2. No trees shall be removed with this conditional approval.
There is a ten (10) day appeal period for this application. To file an appeal, a
completed Appeal Application form must be submitted to the Community
Development Division along with a $600.00 appeal fee by 5:30 p.m. on
Monday, December 28, 2020. You will be notified if an appeal is filed.
A building permit must be obtained prior to any demolition or construction
activity. Please contact Building Services at (626) 574-5416 to determine the
type of documentation, plans, and fees for the appropriate permit. This
approval letter must be presented to Building Services to initiate the permitting
process.
