Dear Aaron:
The HOA, 1019 Fairview Townhomes Homeowners' Association, is hereby
acknowledge that you, 1019 Fairview Ave. Unit E, are going to remodel your unit.
Please note that this acknowledgement from HOA does not waive the liability of unit
owner who changed its floor plan; it is the unit owner's responsibility to obtain permit
from city (if needed) and hire licensed contractor to evaluate the structure safety of the
work being done.
As required by Page 32 of attached CC & R, HOA has to set up an Architectural Control
Committee so as to approve your plan. As stated on CC & R, no alternation can be made
for the unit unless it is approved by the Architectural Control Committee which consists
of 3 members.
Therefore, please let us know the progress and send us the copy of the permit when you
receive from the City of Arcadia and also provide the copy of the structural study so as to
indicate that the remodeling will not affect the structure of the building.
