DISCUSSION The Arcadia Chinese Association is donating $1,500 to the Library to purchase new library materials for children, teens, and adults in support of the Summer Reading Program. These additional items in the collection will help add new and additional copies of very popular titles, thus continuing to encourage our community to find readily available materials and to read throughout the summer. The funds donated by the Arcadia Chinese Association help the Library provide quality collections for our community beyond the current capacity of the City’s General Fund.
