HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of Pending Decision (Amended)Amended Notice of Pending Decision - MUP 21-01 NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the subject property is requesting a Minor Use Permit to legalize an unpermitted tennis court for private residential use. A previous notice for this application was sent out on August 7, 2021. Based on the public comments received, changes have been made as noted below. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the use of an existing facility; and B. Minor Use Permit No. MUP 21-01 Project Description: A Minor Use Permit to legalize an unpermitted 38’ x 76’ tennis court for private residential use with six (6) tennis court lights at 1130 S. 1st Avenue. The previous Notice of Pending Decision did not specify that the Applicant was also requesting to legalize six (6) tennis court lights that are approximately 15’-0” tall and located around the perimeter of the tennis court. Below is the only change to the project from the previous Notice of Pending Decision: • The existing unpermitted six (6) tennis court lights that are approximately 15’-0” tall will be lowered to 12’-0” in height and have aluminum shields to ensure there will be no potential glare onto the adjacent properties, based on a photometric light analysis.
