EXHIBITS Curator Stevy Acevedo installed a new display case highlighting the Ranch Owners of Santa Anita. With the help of Interns Michele Huizar and Jonathan Ornelas, the six cattle brands were installed and put on display in the Museum’s permanent exhibit timeline. Curator Acevedo, with the help of the Museum’s volunteers and interns, completed the curation and installation of the Gilb Museum’s 20th Anniversary Exhibit. The exhibit opening took place on October 16, 2021 and will be on display until February 26, 2022. The Curator had been working with a team of interns and volunteers including Rebecca Andersen, Michele Huizar, Eva Baudler and Jonathan Ornelas. Curator Acevedo and Interns Andersen and Baudler are currently working on a smaller exhibit on the 20th Anniversary that will be on display at the Arcadia Public Library that will be installed the first week of November.
