PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE – CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council will hold a public hearing on
the following text amendment:
A. Statutorily Exempt from CEQA for Regulating Urban Lot Splits and
Two-Unit Projects under Government Code Sections 66411.7 and
65852.21 and the Ordinance is Categorically Exempt from CEQA
under Class 15 as set forth in Section 15315 for pertaining to division
of property in urbanized areas zoned for residential use into four or
fewer parcels.
B. Text Amendment No. TA 21-02 (Ordinance No. 2385)
Project Description: A Text Amendment No. 21-02 to adopt an Urgency
Ordinance No. 2385 amending Divisions 2 and 5 of Chapter 1, Article IX
(Development Code), of the Arcadia Municipal Code relating to urban lot splits and
two-unit projects in single-family residential zones (R-M, R-0, and R-1 zones).

Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so at the public hearing or by submitting written statements to Planning
Services prior to the December 21, 2021 hearing. This notice was published on December 9, 2021. The staff report for this project will be available on the City’s
website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov after 5:30 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021. City Hall will be closed on Friday, December 17, 2021.
Per Government Code Section 65009 – If you challenge this project in court or in administrative hearing, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or
someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Arcadia, or prior to the public hearing.
