The Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia met in regular session on Tuesday, March 22,2005 at
7:00 p.OI. in the Arcadia Council Chambers of the City of Arcadia, at 240 W, Huntington Dr. with
Chairman Baderian presiding,

MOTION:
Itwas moved by Commissioner Wen, seconded by Commissioner Lucas to real all resolutions by
title only and waive reading the full body of the resolution. The motion passed by voice vote
with none dissenting, .

Consideration ofa conditional use permit for a rental car agency.
RESOLUTION NO. 1725
A resolution of the City of Arcadia, California, granting CUP 20050-4, for a rental car agency
at 120 Las Tunas Dr.
The staff report was presented,

In answer to a question by Commissioner Lucas, Mr. Nicholson indicated that the hours of operation is
not a condition of approval.
The public hearing was opened.
The applicant indicated the hours of operation and stated that they are in agreement with all of the
conditions in the staff report,
No one else spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item,
MOTION:
It was moved by Commissioner Olson, seconded by Commissioner Hsu to close the public
hearing. The motion passed by voice vote with no one dissenting.
MOTION:
It was moved by Commissioner Lucas, seconded by Commissioner Olson to approve CUP 2005-
004 15 subject to the conditions in the staff report and to adopt Resolution No. 1725.

Chairman Baderian noted that there is a five working day appeal period. Appeals are to be filed by
March 29, 2005.

2. RESOLUTION NO. 1723
A resolution of the City of Arcadia, California, granting CUP 2004-15, for a 1,200 sq. ft.
tutoring center with up to 30 students at 1012 S. Baldwin Ave., Unit B,
MOTION:
It was moved by Commissioner Olson, seconded by Commissioner Lucas to adopt Resolution
1723 and to formally affirm the decision of March 8,2005 and the votes thereon.

It was moved by Commissioner Olson, seconded by Commissioner Lucas to adopt Resolution
1724 and to fonnally affirm the decision of March 8,2005 and the votes thereon.
