You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the new construction of one single-family dwelling; and B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 20-01 and Protected Tree Encroachment No. TRE 21-25 Project Description: The Applicant is proposing a new 2,920 square-foot, two-story, Prairie-style residence with an attached two-car garage and a 920 square foot basement. A protected tree permit is required to allow a portion of the basement window well and new site improvements (landscaping and hardscape) to encroach underneath the canopy of a protected Canary Island Pine tree.
