TIME RESERVED FOR THOSE IN THE AUDIENCE WHO WISH TO ADDRESS THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON NON-PUBUC HEARING MATTERS - Five-minute time limit per person Mr., Bob Kimball of 140 Santa Cruz Road; said that the new parking signs on Santa Cruz and San Miguel, behind the Parsons building, are an inconvenience. He asked if residents could obtain stickers that would allow them to park in front of their houses for up to two hours dwing the day. Chainnan Olson told Mr. Kimball that the matter would be referred to the Traffic Advisory Committee. Huntington Drive) The Shops at Santa Anita Project includes a Specific Plan, General Plan Amendment, Zone Change, Architectura1 Design Review, Design Guidelines, and a Development Agreement The Project consists of development of an 829,250 squarefoot (sf) commercial, retail and office development on the southem paxking lot of the Santa Anita Paxk Racetrack (804,250 sf of retaillcommercial uses and 25,000 sf of office uses); adaptive reuse of the western portion of the Santa Anita Park grandstand to construct an approximately 98,000 sf Simulcast Center within the grandstand area; a 1.4 acre landscaped open space area linking !be existing Paddock Gardens with the proP9sed new commercial, retail and office center; a '7.5-acre landscaped open space area, including a 3.5-acre water feature, to be located at the southern end of the property; and improvements to vehicle and pedestrian access, paxking, infrmtructure. The Planning Commission's recommendation on the project will be forwarded to the City Council The Staff Report was presented by Community Development Administrator Jason Kruckeberg.
