Curator Acevedo, Intern Eva Baudler and Volunteer Rebecca Andersen created two exhibit panels that were put on display at the Arcadia Community Center for the Veteran’s Day celebration on November 10th. The panels highlighted the Ross Field Balloon School in World War I and Camp Santa Anita in World War II. This provided an excellent opportunity for the Intern and Volunteer to view the collections, plan, prepare, and install the exhibit under the guidance of the Curator, providing a hands-on experience. COLLECTIONS The Anthony W. Wilkinson Collection Transcription project, consisting of 704 letters and postcards, is still being transcribed by the virtual volunteer community on FromThepage.
