Notice of Pending Decision—Major AM 22-01
NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the
subject property is requesting a Major Administrative Modification. You have the opportunity
to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described
below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Sections 15301 and 15305 from the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the construction of an accessory structure
and minor alteration in land use limitations; and
B. Major Administrative Modification No. Major AM 22-01
Project Description: A modification request to allow a 1,329 square foot addition to
an existing garage to have a side yard setback ranging from 5’-11” to 8’-8” in lieu of the
required 15’-3” side yard setback along the northerly side yard. The design of the addition to
the garage was reviewed and approved by the Rancho Santa Anita Residents’ Association.
Required Side Yard Setback: 15’-3”
Proposed Side Yard Setback: 5’-11” to 8’-8”
Comment Period: March 1, 2022 to March 15, 2022 by 5:30 PM
