Notice of Pending Decision—Major AM 22-02
NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the
subject property is requesting a Major Administrative Modification. You have the opportunity
to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described
below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Sections 15301 from the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) for the extension of a block wall and construction of a side
yard fence; and
B. Major Administrative Modification No. Major AM 22-02
Project Description: A modification request to legalize the 5 foot high street side yard
fence extension plus permit a 13” height increase to an existing block retaining wall which
will result in a combined block wall and fence height of 8 feet where the maximum allowable
height is 6 feet. The reason for the additional height is due to the grade difference outside of
the building pad and for it to be a compatible continuation with the existing fence/wall along
this street side.
Required Corner Side Yard Fence Height: 6’
Proposed Corner Side Yard Fence Height: Combined block wall & fence height of 8’
Comment Period: April 13, 2022 to April 27, 2022 by 5:30 PM
