subject property is proposing to build a new single-family residence that is subject to the
City’s Single- Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to
comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303 from the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) for the new construction of one single -family dwelling; and
B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 21-26
Project Description: The Applicant is proposing a new 7,811 square-foot, two-story,
Spanish-style residence with a four-car garage, a 530 square foot detached Cabana, and
a 2,520 square foot basement.

Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,653 square feet
New Building Size (excluding the garage): 7,811 square feet
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 8,582 square feet (32%)
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 9,546 square feet (36%)
Comment Period: May 12, 2022 to May 26, 2022 at 5:30 PM
