property is proposing to build a new single-family residence that is subject to the City’s Single-
Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to comment on the
project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303 from the California Environmental Quality
Act (CEQA) for the new construction of one single-family dwelling; and
B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 22-03
Project Description: The Applicant is proposing a new 4,388 square-foot, two-story, Tuscan
style residence with a 440 square foot, attached two-car garage, a 73 square-foot covered
front porch, and a 259 square-foot covered rear patio.

Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,522 square feet
New Building Size (excluding the garage): 4,388 square feet
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 4,613 square feet (36%)
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 5,636 square feet (44%)
Comment Period: Monday, May 23, 2022 to Monday, June 6, 2022
