A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA RECOMMENDING THE GRANT- ING OF A PETITION FOR THE RE-ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED NEAR BALDWIN AVENUE AND DUARTE ROAD IN SAID CITY AND HEREINAFTER DES- CRIBED. THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on the 15th day of September, 1949, ~here was filed with this Commission the amended petition of Glenn M. . Dysart, requesting a change of zone classification of the following described real property in the City of Arcadia, ~o wit: The south 100 feet of the north 250 feet of the west one-half of Lot 6, Tract No. 4090, as shown on map recorded in Book 43, Page 47 of Maps, records of Los Angeles County, such change to be from Zone R-2 (two family zone) ~o Zone C-2 (general commercial zone) and the said west one half of said Lot 6. excepting ~he north 250 feet thereof, to be changed from said Zone R-2 to Zone PR-2 (automobile parking zone), and WHEREAS. after due notice as required by the provisions of Ordinance No. 760 of the City of Arcadia. a public hearing was duly held on the matter before this Commission on the 17th . day of November, 1949. and all interested persons were given a full opportunity ~o be heard, and WHEREAS, in ~he opinion of this Commission, the proposed re-zoning of the aforesaid property would not be detrimen~al to the public welfare nor injurious to surrounding property and would not adversely affect the comprehensive general plan of this City, and . 1. 17 I, . . . ~ . . eight point type, setting forth a description of the property under consideration, the nature of the proposed change and the time and place at ~hich the public hearing on the matter will be held, not more than one hundred (100) feet apart, on each side of the street on which s aid properties front, for a dis- tance of not less than three hundred (300) feet in each direc- tion from said properties. The Secretary shall also mail a written notice, not less than ten (10) days prior to the date of said hearing, to the owners of property within a radius of three hundred (300) feet of the exterior bo.mdaries of the properties to be changed, using for this purpose the last known name and address of such owners as shovm upon the assessment roll of the City of Arcadia; such latter notice shall contain the same information as is required in the posted notice as described above. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Re- solution and shall forward a copy to the City Council of the City of Arcadia. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Planning Commission on January 5, 1950, by the following votes: AYES~ Mr. Anderson, Knutson, Robertson, Smith and Stoner.
