RESOLUTION NO. 23.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, RECOI>IMENDING THE GRANT-
ING OF A VARIANCE AFFECTING CERTAIN REAL fRO-
PERTY LOCATED Nr 82 WEST LAS TUNAS DRIVE, IN
SAID CITY.
THE CITY PLAliNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WEEREAS, on the fifth day of January, 1950, there was
filed with this Commission the petition of Herbert Kalliwoda
requesting a zoning variance on the following described property
in the City of Arcadia, to wit:
The westerly 75 feet of that portion of lot 69, Santa
Anita Colony, as shown on map recorded in Book 42, page

87, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, lying
southerly of Las Tunas Drive, and being located at 82
West Las Tunas Drive,
to permit the operation of a rental yard for light home equipment,
and

~REREAS, said property is now located in a commercial
zone, to wit, C-2 zone, and
V~EAS, after notice as required by the provisions of
Ordinance No. 760 of the City of Arcadia, a public hearing on the
matter was held before this Commission on the 2nd day of February,
1950, and all interested persons were given a full opportunity to

be heard, and
V~S, in the opinion of this Commission, the main-
tenance and operation of a rental yard for ligh~ home equipment
in the commercial zone in which said property is located would not
be detrimental to the public welfare nor injurious to the surround-
ing property, and would not adversely affect the comprehensive
general plan of this City, under certain conditions,
NOW, 'I'HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Commission

2. That no additions be made to the buildings now
upon the premises and no increase be made in the size of such
buildings.
The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and shall forward a copy to the City Council of the
City of Arcadia.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
adopted by the City Planning Commission at a regular meeting held
on the 2nd day of March, 1950, by the following votes:
AYES: Mr. Anderson, Knutson, Robertson, Smith and
Vleickert.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Mr. Davis.
