A RESOLUTION OF TH"; CITY PLANNING COliIT,uSSION
OF TrlE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFOR~IA, RECOM-
"ffiHDING THE DENIAL OF A PETITION REQUESTING
AlI1ENDl.JENT OF '1'HE ZmTING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF ARCADIA.
':lHEREAS, on the 17th day of January, 1951,
there Vias filed wi th t..l1.is Commission the petition of
forty-six persons requesting that Ordinance No. 760 of
the City of Arcadia be Wliended so as to specifically
prohibit the use of residential property by commercial
vehicles as access to and from and in connection with
1,1-1 uses; and
nREREAS, pursuant thereto after due notice,

public hearings were held by and before this Commission
on the first and 15th days of February, 1951, at which
times all interested parties were given a full opportunity
to be heard;
i~O'jJJ THEREFORE, the City Planning Commission
of the City of Arcadia, California, does hereby determine
and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Although such an amendement would
doubtless be of benefit to the residential property in
the North Third Avenue Area in the Ci ty of Arcadia, it
would cause great hardship and confusion in numerous
other locations in said City.
SECTION 2. That this Commission finds and

determines that su~l1. an amendment is neither necessary
nor desirable.
SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution, and shall forward a copy of
the same to the City Council of the City of Arcadia.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution
was adopted by the City Planning Commission at a regular
meeting held on the 13th day of March, 1951, by the
following vote:

Mr. Anderson, Berky, Robertson. Smith. Sorenson
and Weickert.
None.
ABSENT: Mr. Knutson.
