RESOLUTION NO. 1t7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, RELATIVE TO THE PROPOSED REZONING OF CERTAIN R EAL PROPERTY IN SAID CITY. WHEREAS, pursuant to Section l7 of Ordinance No. 760, the City Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia did, on the 10th day of April, 1951, pass, approve and adopt Resolution No. 1t5 entitled . n A RESOLUnON OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INSTITUfE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN SAID CITyn pursuant to which notice was duly published and public hearings held on the 8th and 22d days of May, 1951, at which times all persons present and interested were given a full opportunity to be heard relative to the changing from zone C-2 to zone C-3 of the following described property in said City, to-wit: .. All the lots, parcels or pDrtions of real property presently zoned C-2, which are adjacent to either the northerly or the southerly side of Foothill Boulevard be- tween Tinaldo Road on the west and the Arcadia City boundary on the east .. and . WHEREAS, said Planning Commission, having received and fully considered all evidence offered at said hearings, including the report and advice of the Planning Consultant, Everett B. Mansur; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia, California, does hereby find, determine and resolve as follows: - 1 - 47 , . . . . . 2. That the granting of the variance requested will not be inconsistent with good planning practice nor ~he ~ovisions of the Master Zone Plan nor the present development of the neighbor- hood in which said property is looated nor will the granting of the variance adversely affect ~he Comprehensive General Plan. 3. That such variance is necessary for the preservation and anjoymen~ of substantial property rights of the applicant possessed by other property in the same vicinity. 4. That ~he granting of the variance requested will not be materially detrimental ~o the public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in sueh vioinity or zone in which the property is located. 5. That for the above reasons this Commission recommends to the City Council of the City of Arcadia, the granting of a variance to permit the alterations of the structure presently existing on the property described in said application into a three family dwelling, with two apartments on the first floor thereof and one apartment on the second floor thereof. . The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and shall forward a copy of the same to the City Council of the City of Ereadia. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on the 26th day of June, 1951, by the following vote: AYES: Mr. Anderson.
