RES0LVB AS FOLLOWS:
VauREAS, pursuant to Section 17 of Ordinance No. 760 of
the City of Arcadia, the City Council of said City did, on the 2nd day
of Ootober, 1951, pass. approve and adopt Resolution of Intention No.
2179, entitled, "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Arcadia,
California, DeclarinG Its Intention to Institute rroceedings for the
wnsndment of Certain Provisions of Ordinance 110. 760 in Said city," pur-

'. :mant to which notice was duly given and published, and public hearings
held by and before the City Planning Connnission on November 13 and
,10vember 27 J 1951, at wiJ.ich time all persons were Liven full opportunity
to be heard and to present evidence relative to the matter of amending
Ordinance ..;0. 760, as provided in said Resolution No. 2179; and,
WHBRhi~, said Planning Connnission has fully considered
the matter;
!lOW, THLRhFORE. the City Plannin8 Commission of the City
of ,~cadia, California, does hereby find. determine and resolve as follows:
SBCTION 1. That the public convenience. necessity and
gener~l welfare require the opening, Widening. extension and improvement
of Baldwin ~venue from Huntington Jrive to Colorado street in the City of
iJ:'cadia;

That the said extension has been greatly facilitated and
expedited by the principal owners of property along said extension;
That said extension will result in conditions not con-
templated in the adoption of Ordinance Ho. 760;
That the preservation of existing property riGhts, and
in consideration of the dedication without the necessity of condem-
nation action, of a portion of the described property for street purposes,
