'tIHEREAS, ambiguity has arisen and ex:.rrts concerninc; the appropriate clas- sifioation of greenhouses within the meaning and intent of Ordinance Eo. 760 of the City of Arcadia, which ambiguity results largely from the use in Section 5-A-2 of Ordinance No. 7&J of the term "private greenhouses", and frOlll. the indefiniteness and uncertain meaning of such phrase; and vlHEHEAS, the City Planning Colllllrl.ssion has, on its mm motion, ascertained the facts concernine the use of greenhouses generally, and private greenhouses in particular as distinguished iron conunercial ereenhouses; rm/I, TfiEPcEFORE, the City Planning Conmri.ssion of the City of Arcadia does . hereby find, determine and resolve as foliolTs: That the term "private greenhouse", as used in Section 5 -A-2 of Ordinance No. 7&J of the City of Arcadia, should mean and be limited to any greenhouse or a combination of greenhouses not exceedinG ;bo square feot in area on any one lot or parcel of land; that any greenhouse or combination of greenhouses exceeding a total of 500 square feet on any one lot or parcel of land shall be deemed to be and clas- sified as a use permissible in Zone C-2 under Section 9-A of said Ordinance No. 7&J. The term greenhouse as used in Ordinance No. 7&J should mean any structure of (;lass, wood, metal, cloth or other material and designed. intended or used for the cultivation, plantinG. grm.~h. propagation or protection of plants or plant life. RESOLVED FURTHER that Resoluti.on No. 62, approved and adopted Harch 25, 1952, be and the same is hereby amended to conform herewith. l'he Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and shall . forwat'd a copy of the same to the City Council of the City of Arcadia. I HEREBY CERTll'Y that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Planning Colllllrl.ssion at an adjourned regular meetinj; held on the 29th day of April, 1952, by the follmfing vote: AYES: Nr.
