'..: RESOLUTION NO. 71 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING THE GRANTING OF A PETITION FOR THE RECLASSIFICATION FROM ZONE R-3 to ZONE C-2 OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN SAID CITY. THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. That on the 26th day of March, 1952, there was filed with this Commission the petition of Arcadia Parking, Incorporated, as owner, requesting a change of zone from Zone R-3 to Zone C-2 on the follOWing described property in the City of Arcadia: The East 70' of Lot l24, Tract 273l, as shown on map recorded in Book 33, Page 29, of Maps, Records of LoS Angeles County. That after due notice as required by the provisions of Ordinance 760 of the City of Arcadia, publiC hearings were duly held on the matter by and before this Commission on the 8th and 22nd days of April, 1952; that interested persons were given a full opportunity to be heard and to present evidenoe at each of said hearings; that there were no protests, oral or written, at either of said hearings, to the granting of the requested reclassification. SECTION 2. That in the opinion of this CommiSSion, the proposed reclassification of the aforesaid property would not be detrimental to the public welfare, nor injurious to the surrounding property, and would not adversely affect the comprehensive General , Plan of the City of Arcadia; that the publiC convenienee and the . general welfare indicate the desirability of the requested reclassi- fication; that said property is adjacent to commercia~ property on the east, is located in a rapidly developing commercial district, is across the street from an extensive off-street parking development, and is in close proximity to an active and expanding business inter- section.
