THE CITY PLAllNING COMHISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES FIND, DETERMINE AI'<,]) RESOLVE AS FOLID\fS: \'ffiEREAS, on June 4, 1952, there was filed with this Commission the petition of Henry S. Ford, as Ol'mer, requesting a zone variance affecting the following described property in the City of Arcadia, to wit: The north 30 feet of lot ll, block 73, Santa Anita Tract, as shown on map recorded in Book 15, pages 89 and 90, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, being the rear 30 feet, facing on the alley, of the property !mown as 41 Alta Street, to permit said property to be used for the business of radio and television sales . and repairs or watchmaking and repairing in the existing building located on the property; and, WREREJ\S, after due notice, as required by the provisions of Ordil'l'''''''e No. 760 of the City of Arcadia, a public hearing was held on the matter by and before this Commission on June 24, 1952, at which time all interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and to present evidence} NOW, 'D!EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Commission make the following findings an<i recOllll1lendations to the City Council of the City of Arcadia; SECTION 1. That the request of the petition is contrary to the spirit and intent of the master zoning plan of the City of Arcadia, which \~as adopted and became effect.ive June 3, 1949. SECTION 2. That the granting of such request is not necessary for the preservation or enjoYl1lent of any substantial property right of thlO' applicant, as the . property is well suited for the purposes to which it may law~' be put. SECTION 3. That there are no e~eptional or extraordinary circumstances applicable to the property involved, sufficient to warrant the grantinG of the variance requested. SECTIOU 4.
