RESOLUTION NO. 96 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COUMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, INSTITUTING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIIlElUNG AND lIAKING RECOldl.l!lN- DATIONS CONCERNING CHANGE OF FRONI' YARD SETBACK IN TRACT NO. 18487. SECTION 1. Good cause appearing therefor, the City Planning Com- miesion of the City of Arcadia does hereby institute proceedings for the purpose of considering and making recommendations concerning the granting of a zone variance, ohanging the front yard requirements of twenty-five (25) feet to twenty (20) fest affecting Lots 1 to 18, inClusive, Tract No. 18487 in the City of Arcadia. SECTION 2. That TUesday, .Tanuary 13, 1953, at the hour of 8100 . o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Arcadia City Hall, be and the same are hereby fixed as the hour, date and place of the public hearing on said matter, at which time all interested parties will be givan full opportunity to be heard and to present evidence. The Secrstary shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause notice of said hearing to be given in the manner required by law. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Planning ColllIllission at a regular meeting held on the 9th day of December, 1952, by the following vote. That the granting of the variance as herein recommended will not be materially detrimental to the pro- perty or improvements in the zone in which the property is located. That the nature of applinant's obligation and the size of the pro- perty and location required by it are circumstances not applicable generally. That the public health, safety and welfare require that adequate means of ingress and egress t~ and from subjeot proper1;y from and to Sixth and Eighth Avenues respectively be provided. SECTION 2. For the above reasons this Commission recolDInends to the City council of the C1ty of Arcadia that a variance be grant- ed to permit the above described property to be used for the ~on- . struction, maintenanoe and operation of a public school thereon upon the express and continuins condition that said premises be not used by the public for school purposes unless and until adequate egress and ingress therefrom and thereto, by means of public streets connec t1.ng with Sixth and Eighth Avenues in said Ci ty , designed and con!ltructed in a manner and at a location satisfactory to the City Engineer and City Planning Consultant, be acquired and con- structed. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a copy to the City Council of the City of Arcadia. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Planning Commission a t a regular meeting held on the 13th day of January , 1953, by the following vote: .
