A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO INSTITUTE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE CON-
SIDERATION OF A~~ MAKING RECO~NDATIONS CONCERN-
ING THE GRANTING OF A ZONE VARIANCE TO PERMIT THE
CONSTRUCTION OF SINGLE STORY MULTIPLE FAMILY
D1IJELLIN'GS ON BALDWIN AVENUE.
THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES
HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the public health, convenience and general
welfare of the City of Arca6ia and the inhabitants thereof require
the consideration of and the institution of proceedings for the
purpose of considering and maklng recommendations concerning the
~r~nting of a variance up~n such conditions as the Planning Com-
missi~n may as a result of these proceedings determine to be
~easonable and necessary, to permit the construction and ma~ntenance

of sinele story multiple family dwellings on the follOWing describ-
ed real property in said City:
Those portions of Lots 5 and 6, Tract No.949, as shown on
lf~? recorded in Book 17, Page 13 of Maps, Records of Los
Angeles County, includ~d within the foll~wing described
exterior boundary line:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 129, Tract No.12l04,
as shown on map recorded in Book 226, Pages 36, 38 and 39 of
JI~ap3, records of said County; thence South 87 011 35" East
220 feet to the West line of Baldwin Avenue; thence Northerly
along the WEst line of Baldwin A.;enue to the N0rth line of
said Lot 5, Tract NO.949; thence West tr.ereon to the North-
east corner of Lot 5, Tract No.1446o, as shown on map record-
ed in Book 31~, Page 44 of Maps, Records of said County; thence
SQutherl~T along the Easterly llnes of said Tract No .lL~460,
Tract No.12706, as shown on map recorded in Book 263, PabEs 3 and
4 of ~aps, Records of said County, and aforesaid Tract No.12l04
