A RESOLU'fION OP THE CITY PLANNING COJOlISSION
OF THE CITY OP ARCADIA, CALIPORlfIA, RECOMMEND-
ING THE DERIAL OP AN APPLICATION FOR A ZONE
VARIANCE TO PERMI'l' '!'HE CONSTRUC'l'ION OP AN
ADDITIONAL RESIDENCB WITH REDUCED YARD AIm AREA

WlmREAS, there was tiled with thls Commission on June 2,
1953, the petltion ot Robert R. and Grace O. Bryant, as owners,
tor a varlanee to pe!'lll1t the construct10n ot an additional re-
sldence on the tollowing described property, to-wit:
Parts ot Lot8 5,6. and 59, Tract 80.4869. as
shown on map recorded in Book 52. page 13
ot Maps, records ot Los Angeles County,
described as tollows:
Beginning at a point in the South 11ne ot
Lot 50 distant 71 teet East trom the West
line ot said Lot; thence East 64.82 teet;
thence North 90 teet; thence East 6 teet;
thence North 114.33 teet; thence West; 70.82
teet; thence South 204.33 teet to beg1nn1ng,
being a lot located at 41l West Lemon Avenue,

cable Ordlnances; and
WBERBAS, atter notice requlred by Ordinance No. 760 ot said
City a pUblic bearlng was beld on the matter by and betore this

to the 28th day ot July, 1953, at each ot which t1mes all persons
were given a tull 6pportun1ty to be heard and to present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Cit1 Plannlng Comm1ss1on ot the Cit1 ot
Arcadia doee hereb)' tind, deterlll1ne and resolve as tollowa:
SECTION 1. That there "l'8 no protests, verbal or written
to the panting ot the proposed variance.
SECTION 2. That the property cOlIIPrises om)' 13,930 square
teet. whereas 15,000 square teet ot lot area are required tor the
construction ot two single tamil)' residences in ZOne R-l; that
there are no exceptional circUlllBtances applicable to subject
propert)'. That the granting ot the variance requested is not
necessal')' tor the preservation or protectlon ot substantial
roperty rights ot the applicants.
