RESOLUTION NO.127
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CJlIFORNIA, MAKING
CERTAIN FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS RELATIVE
TO THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE NO. 760
OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 17 ot Ordinance NO.76O of the
City ot Arcadia, the City Planning Commission ot said City did,
on August 11, 1953, pass, approve and adopt its certain Resolution'
No.117 entitled: itA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO INSTITUTE
PROCEEDINGS FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF AND MAKINO RECOMMENDATIONS CON-
CERNING THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 5-F AND SECTION 15, SUBDIVISION A,
SUBSECTION 2, SUBDIVISION A, SUBPARAGRAPH 1 OF ORDINANCE NO.76O
OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA.", pursuant to which notice was duly publish-
ed and liven and public hearings duly held on the 8th and 22nd days
. of September 1953, at which times all persons present and interest-
ed were given tull opportunity to be heard and to present evidence
relative to the matter or the proposed amendment of Ordinance No.
760 ot said City as provided in said Resolution No.117; and
WHEREAS, said Planning Commission having reviewed and tully
considered all the evidence and testimony presented at said hearings
and reviewed the subject generally;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Arcadia does hereby tind, determine and resolve as tollows:
SECTION 1. That the public necessity, convenience and general
weltare require and this Commission hereby recommends to the City
Councilor the City ot Arcadia that Ordinance No.76O ot said City
be amended in the tollowing particulars:
SECTION 5-F. LOT AREA PER FAMILY.

Every main bUilding hereafter erected, constructed or estab-
lished shall have a lot area of not less than seven thousand five
hundred (7500) square feet per family, and shall have a width of
not less than seventy-five (75) feet at the front building line,
prOVided that where a lot has less area than herein required, and

18 condstent with the comprehensive general plan, w11l promote
and
the harmonious/useful development of the properties in question and
will protect and. preserve the areas in which they are located.
SBC'fIOH 2. The Secretary' shall certify' to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause a copy of same to be forwarded to
the City Council of theCit7 of Arcadia:
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the Cit7 Planning Commission by the follow-
ing vote:
AYES: Commissioners Anderson. Balser. Berky, Knopp, Pratt,
Robertson and Sorenson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
