NOI'I, THEREFORE, THE CITY PLANNn:G COIvfMISSION HEREBY DETER- 1-IINES AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOVIS: SECTION 1. That there were no protests, either orl:'.l or written, to the ~ranting of the application. That subject prol1erty fronts on Huntington Drive in the business district of the city; that property on three sides is zoned C-2; that at the time othc~ Huntington Drive frontage was zoned C-2 subject property was a part of the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; that subject property is no longer Ruited for residential use but could properly be devel- oped for commercial uses. . SECTION 2. That for the foregoing reasons this Commission recommends to the City Council that the property hereinbefore de- scribed be reclassified ano placed in Zone C-2 upon the condj,tion that provision for drainage be made, subject to approval by the City Engineer. SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certify to the a1vption of this resolution and shall cause a copy of the same to be for- warded to the City Council of the City of Arcadia.
