RESOLUTION NO. 250
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING
COiVIMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO INSTITUTE PflOCEEDINGS FOR THE
CONSIDERATION OF AND ~~ING
RECO~~DATIONS CONCER~ING THE
RECLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY IN SAID CITY TO ZONE D
(ARCHITECTURAL OVEflLAY) IN ADDITION
TO THE BASIC ZONING APPLICABLE TO OR
TO BE IMPOSED UPON SAID PROFERTY.
WHEREAS, there was f:lled with tllis Commission on March 4,

1957, the application of G. Glenn Dollinger, as .owner, for the re-
classification from Zone R-3 to Zone C-O of the following described
real property in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, state
of California, to wit:
Lots 27 and 28, Tract No. 13540, as shown on map
recorded in Book 277, pages II and 12, of Maps,
records of Los Angeles County, and that portion
of Lot 67, Banta Anita Colony, as shown 0n map
recorded in Book 42, page 87, ~liscellaneous
Records or said County, beginning at the north-
east corner of Las Tunas Drive and EI Monte Ave-
nue, thence North 100 feet with a ur.iform depth
of 317 feet East;
located on the north side of Las Tunas Drive between EI Monte Avenue
and the Arcadia Wash Channel; and,
WliEREAS, in the opinion of this Commission, if said prop-
erty is to be reclassified, consideration should be given to the
imposition of architectural controls upon said property concurrently
with its reclassification;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY Ph~NING COW~ISSION OF THE CITY
OF AROADIA DOES HEREBY DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the public health, convenience and gen-
eral welfare of the City of Arcadia and the inhabitants thereof re-
qui:t'e the consideration of and the institution of proceedings for
the purpose of considering and making recommendations concerning
the reclassification to Zone D (ArChitectural Jeslgn Zone), in addi-
tion to the basic zoning presently applicable to or which may

hereafter be imposed upon the above described property.
SECTION 2. That the City Planning Commission does hereby
on its own motion institute proceedings for said purpose. That
Tuesday, the 14th day of May, 1957, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock
p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 240 West Huntington
Drive, is hereby fixed and determined as the date, hour and place
of a hearing for the consideration of such matter.
SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall cause to be given notice of the date,
place and purpose of said hearing in the manner required by law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Planning Commission held on the
23rd day of April, 1957, by the following vote:
