RESOLUTION NO. 212
.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING CLASSIFICATION
OF THE BUSINESS OF MANUFACTURING
CHEMISTS OF PHARMACEUTICALS TO POULTRY
AND LIVESTOCK RAISERS.
WHEREAS, the business of manufaoturing chemists of
pharmaceuticals to poultry and livestock raisers is nowhere listed
as a use permissible in any zone under Ordinance No. 760 of the City
of Arcadia; and,
WHEREAS, there has been requested a classification of such
business under Ordinance No. 760 of the City of Arcadia; and,
WHEREAS, ambiguity has arisen conoerning the appropriate
classification of such use within the meaning and intent of Ordi-
~ nance No. 760 of the City of Arcadia; and,
WHEREAS, Section 15-A-I of said Ordinance No. 760 prOVides
in part It. . . if ambiguity arises ooncerning the appropriate classi-
fication of a partioular use within the meaning and intent of this
Ordinance, . . . it shall be the duty of the City Planning Commis-
sion to ascertain all pertinent facts concerning said use and by
resolution of record set forth its findings and the reasons there-
for . . . It; and,
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting, this Commission ascertained
the pertinent facta concerning the business for which classifica-
tion has been requested;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Arcadia does hereby find, determine, resolve and recommend as
~ follows:
SECTION 1. That the business of manufacturing chemists of
pharmaceutioals to the poultry and l1ves,took raisers should be
deemed to be and classified as a use permissible in Zone M-l under
Section ll-A-46 of Ordinance No. 760, so long as such business com-
plies with all the applicable provisions of Zone M-l and the

provisions set forth in said Section Il-A-46 of Ordinance No. 760.
SECTION 2. The Seoretary shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause a copy to be forwarded to the City
Council of the City of Aroadia.
I lfEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Planning Commission held on the 14th
day of February, 1956, by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Acker, Balser, Daly, Pratt, Robertson,
So.renson and Vachon
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
