A RESOLl1rION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA. INSTITl1rING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
CONSIIERATION OF AND MAKOO RECONMENDATIONS OONCERNING
ClASSIFICATION OF CERl'AIN CITY-C1,o/NED REAL PROPERrY

WHEREIoS. the City of Arcadia is the owner of the following described
real property, to-!dt:
That portion of Lot 126, Arcadia Acreage Tract as per map recorded in
Book 10. page 18. of Maps in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles
County described as fOllcYRS: Beginning at a point in the northerly
line of Live Oak Avenue, 100 feet wide, 367.86 feet nertheasterly 01'
the intersection of the said northerly line and the easterly line 01'
Sixth AVElllue, 60 feet wide; thence northerly parallel to the westerly
line of said Lot 126, n6.09 feet to a point, thence easterly parallel
to the northerly line of said lot to a point in the easterly line at
the land conveyed to loT.. Merle and Marie Christine McFarlin by deed re-
corded in Book 16869. page 279, of Official Records of Los Angeles
County. thence southerly along the last mentioned easterly line to the
said north line of Live Oak Avenue, IDO feet wide, thence westerly
along said northerly line to the point of beginning; and,
\-lHEREAS, said property is presently unzoned;: and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has requested this COI11II1ission to make
recol1Dl1endations concerning the proper zoning of said property in the event the
same should pass into private ownership;
NOW, THEREFtlRE, the City Planning Cormnissl.on of the City of Arcadia
does hereby determine and resolve as follows:

SECTION 1. That the public health, welfare and convenience require,
and this Commission does hereby institute proceedings for the consideration of
and maldng recommendations concerning the zone to be applied to the above
described property.
SECTION 2. That Tuesday, the 9th dQ.y of 'NoVember* 1954, at the hour
of 8:00 o'clock poln.. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, are hereby
fixed as the day, hour and place for public hearing for the purpose of receiving
evidence and making determinations and recolllll1endations concerning the zone
classification to be placed an the above described property in the event the
same passes into private omership. Notice is .further given that all interested
persons may appear at the above time and place for the purpose of presenting
evidence or being heard \tlth reference to the subject matter.
SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certifY to the adoption of this
Resolution and shall cause to be given notice of the date, place and purpose
