subject property is proposing to add to an existing two-story house that is subject to
the City’s Single-Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the
opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the
project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301(e)(1) from the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as an addition to an existing structure;
and
B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 22-15
Project Description: The Applicant is proposing to add a new 594 square foot first
floor covered patio that will accommodate the extension of an existing second floor
balcony by 254 square feet at the rear of the existing two-story house. The project
was reviewed and approved by the Whispering Pines Homeowners Association.
Comment Period: September 2, 2022 to September 16, 2022 at 4:30 PM
