RESOLUTION NO. 342
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO INSTITUTE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING AND MAKING
RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING THE
AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE NO. 760 BY
AMENDING SECTION 7-B THEREOF AND
ANY OTHER PERTINENT SECTIONS BY
DECLARING REQUIRED UNDERGROUND
PARKING TO CONSTITUTE A STORY AS
DEFINED BY SAID ORDINANCE.
THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the publiC health, welfare and conven-
ience of the City of Arcadia and the inhabitants thereof require
-e the consideration of, and the institution of proceedings for the
purpose of making findings and recommendations concerning the
amendment of Ordinance No. 760 of the City of Arcadia by amending
Section 7-B thereof and any other pertinent sections by declaring
required underground parking to constitute a story as defined by
said ordinance, all as may be determined after full consideration
of the matter.
SECTION 2. That Tuesday, the 13th day of October, 1959,
at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers of the
City Hall, 240 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia, California, is here-
by fixed and determined as the day, hour and place of a public hear-
ing for the consideration of said matters and for hearing and re-
~ ceiving testimony and evidence pertaining thereto.
SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall cause to be published notice of the
date, place and purpose of said hearing in the manner required by
law.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Planning Commission held on the
25th day of August, 1959, by the following vote:
