PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1256
WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT OF A PARCEL MAP FOR THE
PROPERTIES AT 607 ROSEMARIE DRIVE AND 606 WALNUT AVENUE
WHEREAS, an application has been filed for waiver of the requirments of a
parcel map for the division of real property as described herein, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined, in accordance with
applicable provisions of the Subdivision Map Act and local ordinances, that such
application should be granted:
NOW, THEREFDRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CIty OF
ARCADIA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The requirement of a parcel map is waived for the following
described proposed division of land:
APPLICANTS: Ottokar Straka and Elizabeth Straka
607 Rosemarie Drive
Arcadia, CA 91006
Edward G. Polley and Darlene M. Polley
606 Walnut Avenue
Arcadia, CA 91006
The address and legal description of the new parcels are described in attached
Exhibit "A".
Section 2. It is hereby found that the proposed division of land
described above complies with all requirements as to area, improvement and
design, floor and water drainage control, appropriate improved public roads,
sanitary disposal facilities, water supply availability, environmental
protection, and other requirements of the Subdivision Map Act and local
ordinances which are applicable to the proposed division of land, and that the
design of each parcel is in substantial compliance with the approved Tentative
Parcel Map.

Section 3. The decision, findings and conditions contained in this
Resolution reflect the Commission's action of March 27, 1984, and the
followi ng vote:
AYES: Commissioners Fee, Hedlund, Sa~gis, Szany, Jahnke
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioners Dixon, Wells
Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and shall cause a copy to be forwarded to the City Council of the
City of Arcadia.

PREPARED BY:
Attached for your consideration is a request for a waiver of Parcel Map
for T.P.M. 83-4, a lot line adjustment at 607 Rosemarie Drive and 606
Walnut Avenue (see attached map). This lot line adjustment is eligible
for the waiver of the Parcel Map as set forth in Arcadia Municipal Code
Section 9118.6.(a).I.

The Planning Commission approved Tentative Parcel Map 83-4 on June 28,
1983 and the City Council concurred with the Commission's action on July
5, 1983. The applicants, Ottokar Straka, Elizabeth Straka, Edward Polley
and Darlene Polley, have complied with the conditions of approval
required by T.P.M. 83-4. The Planning Department recommends approval of
the requested waiver.
If the Planning Commission approves this request, the Commission should
approve the Waiver of the Parcel Map and the Certificate of Compliance.
Following this action, the Commission should then adopt the attached
Resolution No. 1256, which sets forth specific findings of approval.
