property is proposing to add to an existing two-story that is subject to the City’s Single-Family
Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to
the City making a decision on the project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301(e)(1) from the California Environmental Quality
Act (CEQA) as an addition to an existing structure; and
B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 22-21
Project Description: The Applicant is proposing to add livable square footage by converting
existing high ceiling area into an 400 square foot extended hall and a 200 square foot interior
balcony space.
Lot Size: 17,880 square feet
Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 6,468 square feet
New Building Size (excluding the garage): 7,068 square feet
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 7,068 square feet (36%)
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 7,364 square feet (41%)
Comment Period: February 3, 2023 to February 16, 2023 at 5:30 PM
