A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS OF A PARCEL MAP FOR THE
PROPERTIES AT 1117 AND 1121 SOUTH TENTH AVENUE.
WHEREAS, an application has been filed by Frank La Barbara for Waiver of
the requi remnts of a Parcel Map for the divi sion of real property as described
herein; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined, in accordance with
applicable provisions of the Subdivision Map Act and local ordinances, that such
app1 ication shou1 d be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The requirement of a parcel map is waived for the following
. described proposed division of land:
The 1 ega1 desc ription of the new parcel s are desc ribed in attached
Exhibi t "A".
Section 2. It is hereby found that the proposed division of land described
above complies with all requirements as to area, improvement and design, flood
and water drainage control, appropriate improved public roads, sanitary di sposa1
facilities, water supply availability, environmental protection, and other
requirements of the Subdivision Map Act and local ordinances which are applicable
to the proposed division of land, and that the design of each parcel is in
substantial compliance with the approved Tentative Parcel Map.
Section 3. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution
and shall cause a copy to be forwarded to the City Council of the City of
Arcadia.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular
meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 22nd day of October, 1985, with

SUBJECT" REQUEST FOR A WAIVER OF THE PARCEL MAP FOR TENTATIVE
PARCEL MAP APPLICATION NO. 85-10.
Attached for your consideration is a request for a Waiver of the
Parcel Map for Tentative Parcel Map Appl ication No. 85-10, a
realignment of lot lines at 1117-1121 South Tenth Avenue. Said
application is eligible for the Waiver of the Parcel Map as set
forth in Arcadia Municipal Code Section 9118.6.(a).1.
The Planning Commission approved T.P.M. 85-10 on August 13, 1985.
The Planning Department recommends approval of the requested
Waiver subject to the following conditions:
1.
Prior to recordation of the Waiver, the applicant shal I
pay the fees as required by the Public Works Department
for T.P.M. 85-10.
2. Cut and plug a I I water lines cross i ng the proposed lot
split line, to the satisfaction of the Water Manager.
If the Planning Commission intends to approve this request the
Commission should make a motion to approve the Waiver of the
Parcel Map and the Certificate of Compliance. Following this
action, the Commission should then adopt the attached Resolution
No. 1304, which sets forth specific findings of approval.

It is the desire of the undersigned to adjust the boundary between our
properties or consolidate the lots as indicated on the attached map.
I (We) request that the Planning Commission determine this division (or
consolidation) of land qualifies for a waiver from the Parcel Map regu-
lations in accordance with Section 9118.6 of the Arcadia Municipal Code.
It is my (our) understanding that a waiver from the Parcel Map regula-
tions does not relieve me (us) of the responsibility of complying
with other applicable sections of the Arcadia Municipal Code.
