property is proposing build a new, two-story contemporary style home that is subject to the City’s
Single-Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to comment on the
project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303 from the California Environmental Quality
Act (CEQA) for the new construction of one single-family dwelling; and
B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 22-17
Project Description: The Applicant is proposing a new two-story, contemporary style residence
with an attached three-car garage, front balcony, rear balcony, a 50 square-foot covered front
porch, and 110 square-foot rear covered patio.
Lot Size: 8,959 square feet
Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,546 square feet
New Building Size (excluding the garage): 3,831 square feet
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 3,867 square feet (43.2%)
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 4,031 square feet (45%)
Comment Period: February 22, 2023 to March 7, 2023
